Good things come in small packages.....
"I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best" Marilyn Monroe
http://www.myvintage.co.uk/ is a absolutely adorable online vintage shop !!! Which while I am at work, I'm sure will fill up the hours and my need to buy old things!
I especially love this play suit and bag! Though i think I'd add a few cute vintage buttons to it to make it a little less plain!
However, I think I'd probably wait until i have money :(

Come back from travelling, and hate being home alreadyyy!!! Want to go back....take me to budapest someone pleaseeeeeeeeeee :) Will upload travelling pictures etc sooon! xxxxx
Today I went and saw an exhibition called Load. It took place in the Royal Albert Theatre loading bay, 9 commissioned graffiti artists, graffited the walls inside the building, and it was insane! I took a few photo's, which are kinda poo, I didn't have the patience to wait for people to move out of the way with their camera phones!
17days, 15 hours, 36mins, until I go travelling (printmaking)... and i can not be more excited, i just cannot wait to get out of the generic and venture from the bubble..... BRING IT ON.. ALSO Hungary (Budapest) now added!!
Also, I went Ascot yesterday, to mingle with posers who know fuck all about/do fuck all betting. After spending a good 2hours in on a oxygen deprived tin can, surrounded by millions of snobs with ridiculous accents/hats/attire. Feeling more claustrophobic then one of those poor fish in a pet shop. I had a absolute BLAST of a time, and it came to my attention, that I am also one of those posers who know fuck all about betting. I broke my unbroken betting record and lost 3times in a row, won a measly 40£ on the fourth, the continued to lose a further two times; BOLLOCKS. I then went on to spent the rest of the time toddling about in 6inch heels! Then managed to get first class all the way back to Waterloo, result! Can't wait for round 2 next year! Though I think I will go for a much more extravagant fascinator, because I can!
(here's me in an AWFULLY taken photo by my camera disabled boyfriend)
Not quite sure what to do with my day though, but to be honest no matter what, I think I'll be pretty damn happy doing it!
On Tuesday I completed my 6.1mile walk, ok, honestly mother dearest gave me a lift 2miles of the walk on the way to work(thanks mum) so I completed more of a 4.1miles walk. I was pretty impressed with my timing however, 45mins!!! The walk was pretty damn good actually, despite the fact I was carrying a small elephant on my shoulders, had forgotten my headphones, and wore the most painful pair of shoes, ever. Other delightful benefits of my journey included being rained upon, shouted at by a truck driver and reaching my destination to face the fact, my journey was still being run by trains.
While walking up the high street, taking shelter for the ever increasing downfall, seemed to be the right decision. Entering a small art gallery I walked around a bit I was either being captivated or disenchanted, I found myself in deep conversation with the biggest loser I'd ever met, I discovered he went to private school, attended two years of uni; of which he dropped out of, completed 3 years at another uni and now after spending 145000 on education is now a 28year old man who works in an art gallery (not to mention he hates art). He then continued to find and add me on facebook. After all this, I was pretty damn happy to sit back relax eat pie and make cupcakes :)
Yesterday proved to, be a very productive day, I swung down to college to help Gemma put up her display, then we finally made a plan for travelling (17days away now) So the plan goes.. Barcelona, Rome, Milan, Venice, Ijublijaba (in Slovenia), Salzburg (in Austria), Prague, Berlin, Amsterdamn, Antwerpen (in Belgium), Lille and Essex :)
Also if anyone misses me and/or wants to take me here anytime soon before I go travelling... Please do :)
So today/yesterday was quite the unaccomplished day. I woke up raring to go, however my day went something like this: Woke up. Had a shower Went to the post office Visited my nan Went to the opticians Came home Painted the sketch I did earlier this week, had no red acrylic so used poster paint = disaster. watched 3hrs of CSI Planned what I'm wearing tomorrow
So overall I'm pretty disappointed in my lack of achievement today, however my spirits are still high...
Due being a student(several major crashes) not being insured on my car has never proved to be a problem. However, the greedy people of the TFL who do not quite grasp the concept of a recession, have decided to stop the trains. I despise buses and I'm waiting until after travelling to get a bike. Tomorrow I am walking 6.1 miles to eat pie and make cupcakes with my boy.
